We stand on a threshold in our history as a race.

The human being survived its early years because of its capacity to adapt to its environment, to use what  Nature provided, to learn the lessons that would be passed onto the next generations.

At the beginning of the industrial revolution, we found out ways to bend Nature to our will. Instead of working with her, we began to try to subdue and control her. We became arrogant, told ourselves we were special to God, to the Earth, that we had the right to blow up mountains, and poison our lakes and oceans. We had a right to crack open to earth to take from her what she would have given us anyway, but in her way: gently, lovingly, impartially.

We stand on a threshold in our history as a race.

We either grow up, or perish.

It is an exiting time for designers and creatives.

In fact, it is a great opportunity for all members of the community to get together, talk about ideas, share solutions.

It is a great opportunity to tap onto communal knowledge and share it far and wide.

What old, all natural remedy did your grandmother use to get stains out of clothes?

What discoveries in the scientific fields are showing us who we are and where we come from?

What would you do with cassette tapes, of which there are so many still around?

What lessons from history are relevant to our situation now?

What are people doing, all over the World, to create REAL solutions, that are sustainable, created in justice to ourselves and the planet and that help those that mostly need it?
